Lost & Found App
The Lost & Found app is a personal belongings tracker designed to help users develop routines and strengthen short term memory. After conducting ethnographic research, a relatively common issue was identified, the misplacing of essential items. The app allows users to develop organisational skills, healthier habits and reduce forgetfulness through setting reminders, photographing items in situ, and leaving voice notes. Lost & Found’s brand identity is vibrant, playful, and approachable — designed to infuse everyday routines with a sense of joy and energy.
Aurion
I had the privilege of interning at Aurion People & Payroll Solutions as a junior graphic designer over a 100-hundred-hour period. I contributed to tasks including a 40-year anniversary logo and campaign asset creation, illustration, and printed collateral. I gained valuable insights into marketing, UI/UX, and in-house processes by participating in team meetings, collaborating with the team and stakeholders, and furthering the Aurion brand. A key highlight was my involvement in the typeface selection process for Aurion’s upcoming software release, to be utilised by approximately 1 million customers.
Zine
As a volunteer graphic designer at Micah Projects, I created a commemorative zine celebrating the organization’s 30-year anniversary. Micah Projects is a West End-based community organization supporting people experiencing homelessness and social disadvantage. The zine features one page per year of operation, detailing the positive impact they’ve made on the community and invaluable contributions of volunteers throughout the years. While maintaining Micah Projects’ brand identity, the visual design draws inspiration from quilts crafted by the Happy Patches, a community group that creates handmade quilts for newborns and families accessing Micah Projects’ services. Custom typography echoes the geometric patterns found in these quilts.
Sacred Hearts
Sacred Hearts are a Meanjin/Brisbane based post-punk duo who fuse shoegaze, new wave, and industrial influences. For the release of their latest EP Siren Songs, I was commissioned to create merch and tour posters. Inspired by punk flyers and album covers from the 1980s, I designed posters with a DIY aesthetic that reflects the band’s punk influences. I took inspiration from their lyrics to develop images evoking grunge aesthetics. It was amazing seeing my merch designs worn by fans and wearing them myself!
Traffic Box
LiveWorm Studio was engaged to design traffic box vinyl wraps that represented the diversity and culture of Brisbane. My artwork was selected and successfully installed in the Brisbane CBD. I wanted my design to reflect some of the things I love most about Brisbane which includes its rich biodiversity, unique architecture, and public transport system. The design background references the façade of iconic Brisbane café Sugar ‘N Spice. The foreground features a menagerie of local animals, including a Bush-stone curlew and green tree frog, all waiting for their bus! This has been one of my favourite projects to work on and its presence in Adelaide Street contributes to the city’s street art culture. I particularly enjoy observing public interactions with the artwork, both live and on social media, and how it is contributing to place making in the city.
