The BRIEF

LiveWorm Studio was engaged to design traffic box vinyl wraps that represented the diversity and culture of Brisbane. My artwork was selected and successfully installed in the Brisbane CBD. I wanted my design to reflect some of the things I love most about Brisbane which includes its rich biodiversity, unique architecture, and public transport system. The design background references the façade of iconic Brisbane café Sugar ‘N Spice. The foreground features a menagerie of local animals, including a Bush-stone curlew and green tree frog, all waiting for their bus! This has been one of my favourite projects to work on and its presence in Adelaide Street contributes to the city’s street art culture. I particularly enjoy observing public interactions with the artwork, both live and on social media, and how it is contributing to place making in the city.
