The BRIEF
Sacred Hearts are a Meanjin/Brisbane based post-punk duo who fuse shoegaze, new wave, and industrial influences. For the release of their latest EP Siren Songs, I was commissioned to create merch and tour posters. Inspired by punk flyers and album covers from the 1980s, I designed posters with a DIY aesthetic that reflects the band’s punk influences. I took inspiration from their lyrics to develop images evoking grunge aesthetics. It was amazing seeing my merch designs worn by fans and wearing them myself!
